I am...
I am also a student who believes that nothing can
be achieved by just thinking the world comes easy and everything will be served
on a silver platter. I find that my ambitions and expectations far exceed those
of my peers. I see that so many people expect things to be handed them to you.
The case where it comes to quizzes or midterms where they want you to challenge
your knowledge. Some think, ”Hey I can go into this test with no preparation
what so ever and expect to have luck on their side and possibly get a good
grade.” The gift I have is that I see those people and I am the type with will
put a lot of effort even if it means going above and beyond. And in some cases
I will try to even make study groups where we can bond and hangout and study
also and be productive. This is one of the few special gifts I have developed
over the years.
My gift I have is the ability to bring people together. Last year at UCSC, during my stats class, I had a choice to do a presentation with a group of 4 or to work alone. I really enjoy collaboration projects and assignments. I feel like when I work in groups, overall my work gets done quicker and the process of the work becomes fun. I have the traits of a leader. I enjoy bringing people together and organizing. For example I am in a student organization where some people who join are shy. I have the personality to try to incorporate the conversation to a point where they feel comfortable to speak. We also tend to hold outing with the club where sometimes not everyone will get a notification. As a result, I will try to see who is not there and send them that notification to join, and during that outings I will introduce people to them where they don’t feel a barrier of random strangers and get to know them and as a result they tend to share some of their personality with the group and the true self shines where their true self is a great person. I enjoy this gift the most becomes it brings people together and I enjoy that social factor the most.
